Misunderstood, misconstrued, taken the wrong way or a motive to cause problems and division – accusations are still – – – accusations!

Accusations need to be brought out and dealt with As Soon As Possible (ASAP).

Paul was accused; he was not a door mat.  He did not take accusations lying down, letting others walk over him.

Paul wrote a second letter to the Corinthian church and confronted the accusation.
(NASB) 2 Corinthians 10:10 “For they say, ‘His letters are weighty and strong, but his personal presence is unimpressive and his speech contemptible.’”

Did you notice the accusation?  He was accused of writing letters which were weighty and strong; but he was accused of being weak when physically present.  Accused of having an unimpressive personality and ineffective words spoken when he was there in person.

(NASB) 2 Corinthians 10:11 “Let such a person consider this, that what we are in word by letters when absent, such persons we are also in deed when present.”

Did you notice the response, the defense?  What he wrote is what he meant as if he were there with them.

~ Take it to heart ~

Content of letters written when absent will be backed up when bodily present.
How do I react to criticism?  Do I deal with it ASAP?

Are my responses based on God’s truth?

Am I consistent, whether I am present or not?
