What God is saying:
(NASB) 2 Corinthians 4:16-17 “Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.
17 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,”

Have you found that looking back you can understand what, why, when, who and how circumstances worked out the way they did?  That is known as hindsight.

One day, we will do exactly that with our lives as a whole.  Think about it.  We do not “see” our circumstances from God’s point of view in eternity.  But He does.  One day, I believe, I also will see my life from God’s point of view.  I will see how God worked in my life.

This is one of the reasons we are to live by faith in our Savior, Jesus.

  Listen to what God says:
(NASB) 2 Corinthians 4:18 “while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

~ Take it to heart ~

(NASB) Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

I am not to look at my circumstances from my perspective at this moment – I am to live by faith that God knows exactly what He is doing and it is for my best.

Eternal hindsight will give me full understanding of why God my Savior and Shepherd led me the way He did today.
