(NASB) 2 Corinthians 4:1 “THEREFORE, SINCE we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart,”

FACT:  We have a ministry to serve our God.  He gives us mercy and we are not to “lose heart” by becoming depressed, fearful or discouraged.

(NASB) 2 Corinthians 4:2 “but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.”

What we NO LONGER DO because we know Christ as our Savior
FACT:  We have renounced, repented of those things which are hidden, which cause us shame.
FACT:  We no longer live being sneaky, crafty, tricky, sly or manipulative.
FACT:  We no longer make fun of God’s word or handle His word with dishonesty, working to deceive others.

What we NOW do because Jesus IS our Savior
FACT:  The truth of God is shown through our lives: through our words and actions.
FACT:  We state God’s truth openly, clearly and without a hidden motive.
FACT:  We now commend ourselves to every person’s conscience in God’s sight.
FACT:  When others read or hear God’s message of salvation – they become responsible before the living God.

Presenting facts about ourselves is not bragging when we are telling others about our God.
Presenting facts about ourselves is shown through our words, actions, attitudes and lifestyle.

Stating facts about our God-given ministry – listen carefully: – stating facts is not fiction; we are not to make anything up about what God says in the Holy Bible.
We can honestly, openly commend ourselves to those who listen to our message.

(NASB) 2 Corinthians 2:14-16 “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.
15 For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing;
16 to the one an aroma from death to death (those without faith in Christ Jesus), to the other an aroma from life to life (those with faith in Christ Jesus)… ”

FACT:  God’s message through my life is shown

wherever I live,

wherever I work,

wherever I go this day.
