How do you begin your day?  Have you thought about beginning with praise and thanksgiving to the living God?

God’s word tells us…
(NASB) Psalm 100:4 “Enter His gates with thanksgiving
And His courts with praise.
Give thanks to Him, bless His name.”

Thanksgiving
Enter into God’s presence with a thankful heart.
Thank Him for His love for you.
Thank Him for the Lord Jesus Christ through whom you are saved.
Thank Him for the Lord Jesus taking your sins as if they were His.  He was fully punished for your sins.  Have you thanked Him lately?

Praise
Enter God’s presence with praise.
Praise Him for He is the all glorious, living God.  He is the uncreated God, the eternal God, the self-existing God revealed in the Holy Bible.
Praise Him!

Bless
One of the dictionary’s definitions for bless: “To honor as holy; glorify.”
When you and I bless God, we are not thinking we are better than God.  When we bless our God, we are honoring Him as holy and we are glorifying His name.

Thank God! Praise God! Bless God!

Take it to heart ~

(NASB) Psalm 96:2 “Sing to the Lord, bless His name;
Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day.”

How do you begin your day?
