Before the sun rises – light begins to dispel the darkness of night.  Birds sing – lifting their voices of praise before they eat…
Glad songs fill the early morning dawn of a new day.

How do you begin a day?  Are you singing praises to God your Savior?

How do you begin a day?  Are you anticipating serving your Lord?
Are you coming before Him with singing, filled with joy?

Perhaps you think, I don’t live in any place special, but that is where you are to serve the Lord!

Serve God your Savior with gladness.  Trusting Him to lead you on the path He sets before you.

Are you letting go of worries, anxieties, the “what if’s” that pull you down?

(NASB) Psalm 100:2 “Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before Him with joyful singing.”

Did you notice?  There are no conditions of “if you are feeling well,” or “if your circumstances are to your liking.”
It is always easier to serve the Lord with gladness and come before Him with joy-filled singing when life is good.

When you are not feeling well or your circumstances are hurtful or you are not getting your way – you are still to serve the Lord with gladness.  You are still to come before Him with joy-filled singing.

(NASB) Proverbs 3:5-7 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.”

Take it to heart ~

(NASB) Ephesians 5:19-20 … “speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord;
20 always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father…”

Followers of Christ – God your Savior, your Redeemer, is coming!  Let the Lord Jesus Christ be praised – this day!

  Serve the Lord with gladness – this day!

  Come before Him with joy-filled singing – this day!
