(NASB) Psalm 119:89 “Forever, O Lord,
Your word is settled in heaven.”

God’s words are worth your trust.  They are unchanging, consistent, without error, infallible, reliable and they are eternal.  God’s word, the Holy Bible will not contradict itself from Genesis to Revelation.

For these reasons – you can trust God’s words to give you sound advice and counsel.  They will lead you on the path you are to walk today.  And you will be pleasing the living God.

They give you light to see the next step, then the next…even when you cannot see too far ahead.

(NASB) Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light for my path.”

Scripture in the Holy Bible interprets Scripture.  God’s words are consistent from the first statement to the last “Amen.”  God does not change His words.

The first statement:
(NASB) Genesis 1:1 “IN THE beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

God’s word ends with the promise of the coming of Messiah.
(NASB) Revelation 22:20 “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming quickly.’  Amen.  Come, Lord Jesus.”

The Lord’s grace is given to all who read and believe.
(Amplified Bible) Revelation 22:21 “The grace (blessing and favor) of the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be with all the saints (God’s holy people, those set apart for God, to be, as it were, exclusively His).  Amen (so let it be)!

Take it to heart ~

  Where you go for advice and counsel, it will lead you either toward the living God or away from Him.  Where are you going for help?

For all who are seeking God, the living God of the Bible and His words will lead you on a straight path.
(NASB) 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”

God’s words are worthy of your trust, your confidence.
