Who do you trust, absolutely and completely?  Is there anyone whose promises you trust?

If we put our confidence in people, no matter how well meaning those people are, we can know at some point they will fall off their pedestal; their word will be worthless.

When we trust God and His promises to us…we can know that all of His promises will be done, they will be fulfilled, period!

(NIV) Titus 1:1-2 “PAUL, A servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ for the faith of God’s elect and the knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness – 2a faith and knowledge resting on the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time…”

The God of the Bible does not lie.  What He promises He fulfills.  He promised eternal life “before the beginning of time.”  Amazing truth!  Only an amazing Creator could promise eternal life.

He promised a Savior, a Messiah and He fulfilled this promise in and through His only begotten Son, Jesus.

(NASB) John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

By faith ~ you also may have eternal life, by believing God’s words.  Jesus can be your Savior if He is not now.  No matter your knowledge, your circumstances or your religion…you can have a relationship with the living Lord Jesus Christ.

Becoming a follower of Christ is more than becoming a Christian.  It is having a relationship with a living Person.  He did die on the cross.   And the wonderful, amazing truth is He is resurrected from the grave.  Followers of Christ have a living Savior, not a dead god lying in a tomb.

By faith ~ you also can obtain the promise of eternal life through faith in Jesus, God’s only begotten Son.

Take it to heart ~

(NASB) Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful…”

How are you living your life?  Are you living by faith in the words of God the Creator?  Do you believe that His only begotten Son is Jesus?  Will you, right this moment ask Jesus to be your Savior?  Asking Him to save you from your sins?

If you do pray in this way, you are living by faith in the promises of God.  You are saying to the living God, ‘I believe You!’  And this amazing God will receive you, because He has promised!
