Jacob was given the same promises the living God gave to Abraham and Isaac.  These men did not receive the fulfillment of those promises but they believed God.

(NASB) Hebrews 11:13 “All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.”

(NASB) Hebrews 11:21 “By faith Jacob, as he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.”

Jacob believed God, even as he was dying. One of his last actions was to bless the two sons of Joseph.  They were adopted by Jacob and became two of the tribes of Israel.

God is faithful; He fulfills all of His promises, even though we may not “see” them fulfilled.

As Jacob was in the last days of his life, he blessed the two sons of Joseph…and he worshiped the living God!

Jacob died by faith in the God of the Bible and he worshiped.  When you die, do you desire to have faith in the living God and to worship Him?
Jacob passed to his children and grandchildren the blessing of faith in God and His promises.

Blessing others and worshiping God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit – what a legacy to leave when you die and enter into God’s presence.

Take it to heart ~

(NASB) Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

Jesus ~ He is worthy of your faith, your trust and your worship.

Your faith and trusting Jesus for your life today, and tomorrow in eternity, will impact others.

What will your legacy be?
