Unforgiven
When you are guilty – of anything – where do you turn for forgiveness?  Unforgiveness is a burden that weighs many people down.  Drugs, alcohol, recreation, sports, social media, or any distraction, are how many people deal with unforgiveness.

By turning to the living God…asking His forgiveness is important, so very important for you.  When you confess your sins to the God of the Bible…you are forgiven!
(NASB) 1 John 1:9-10 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.”

Jesus said to His disciples on the night He was betrayed
(NASB) Matthew 26:28 “for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.”
You are forgiven when you receive Jesus as your Savior…it is faith in His blood that forgives you…there is nothing else that will cover your sins…nothing.

  Belief in Jesus – forgiven!
Acts 10:43 “Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.”

Delivered from sins, redeemed by Jesus’ blood, redeemed by His grace = forgiven!

(NASB) Ephesians 1:7 “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.”

We need to be spiritually cleansed with the blood of the Lamb of God – Jesus!
(NASB) Hebrews 9:22 “…all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.”

All people have the opportunity to be forgiven by the Omnipotent, All-powerful God of the Bible.  What is needed?  Faith – faith in His Son by recognizing your need for Jesus as your Savior.

The very name “Jesus” means “He will save His people from their sins.”  (Matthew 1:21)

God’s forgiveness causes us to worship Him in reverent fear.
(NASB) Psalm 130:4 “But there is forgiveness with You,
That You may be feared.”

Whether you are a follower of Christ right at this moment, or not…you need God’s forgiveness through belief in Jesus – only He can save you, forgiving you of your sins.
All God’s people will say…Amen!
