Whenever “For this reason” or “Therefore” is used in God’s word – we must go back to the last verse or verses to find out the reason for the next statement.

(NASB) Hebrews 9:15 “For this reason…”

  Christ offered His blood through the eternal Spirit to the Father.

Christ Jesus was without sin; however, He offered Himself as a substitute for you.  He took your sins upon Himself when He died on the cross.

Christ’s blood sacrifice cleanses anyone as if no sins have been committed.  His sinlessness becomes mine.  Amazing grace of God.

All of your dead works are taken away by Christ’s sacrificial blood when you receive Him as your Savior and Lord.  Once your faith is in Jesus Christ, then you are able to serve the living God.  (Hebrews 9:14)

“For this reason…” Christ is the Mediator of all who yield themselves to Him as Savior and Lord.

You have a mediator in heaven, right now if you are a follower of Christ.

Faith in Christ is of utmost importance for you…if affects your eternity.

(NASB) Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

  “For this reason…” you and I need Jesus to be our Mediator before the throne of God.

We need to be saved.  We need to be cleansed from our sins before we can enter eternity in heaven.

What is the alternative?  To enter eternity in hell.  We make the choice here in this life…what have you chosen at this point?
