Disobedience is unbelief in the living God
Disobedience to God and His words is unbelief.
Unbelief is:
- Not believing that God tells the truth.
- Not believing God’s warnings are for you.
- Not believing God’s promises have been fulfilled in the past.
- Not believing God’s promises are being fulfilled today.
- Not believing God’s promises will be fulfilled in the tomorrows.
- Not believing is unbelief in God and is disobedience…and all who do not believe will not be able to enter God’s rest for them. (Hebrews 3:18-19)
Disobedience to God is
the absence of faith in the living God.
(NASB) Hebrews 4:1 “THEREFORE, LET us fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it.”
Warning! Warning! Warning!
Are you and I listening;
and as we listen, do we believe God?The Bible tells us of the factual story of the Israelites refusing to believe God. A whole generation were judged by God and not allowed to enter the Promised Land.
(NASB) Hebrews 4:2 “For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also (the Israelites); but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard.”
Warning! Warning! Warning!
Are you and I listening;
and as we listen, do we believe God?
