The prayer of the week is based on Hebrews 3:1, 14

Lord God, to You alone belongs worship through praise and adoration.  Anyone who turns to You, through faith in Jesus, is given life.  We are set apart for You, we are “holy brothers,” we are “partakers of a heavenly calling.”

It is only through faith in Your Son that anyone can be called a “partaker of a heavenly calling.”  We are “partakers of Christ.”

Help me today, to hold fast with confidence to my salvation, which is in Jesus alone.
