Jesus ~ His divine nature and majestic royalty
(NASB) Hebrews 2:1 “For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it.”
Jesus – what have you heard? What have you read/studied about Jesus?
- God the Father spoke to you and me in His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- God the Father has revealed Himself through His Son’s life and words.
- Jesus is appointed heir of all things.
- Jesus was involved with creation – Genesis 1:1; Hebrews 1:2
- Jesus is the radiance of God’s glory.
- Jesus’ power upholds all things by His word.
- Jesus came to save His people from their sins by dying on the cross in our place for our sins.
- Jesus is seated at the right hand of God the Father in heaven. He is fully God and fully Man – He has a physically resurrected body.
The divine nature of Jesus and His majestic royalty is revealed in Hebrews 1:1-14.
Jesus is the only One God has anointed and appointed to be your Savior and Lord.Who are you following? Are you following the world’s way of thinking? Or perhaps your way of thinking? Who do you believe? God’s word is unchanging and unalterable.
Yielding to God is the wise course of action.
God used angels to prophesy of Jesus and to announce His birth.
God is just and all sin will be judged.
Jesus offers you and me salvation…salvation is only through faith in Him. Only by faith in Jesus, the living Lord, can anyone be saved. (Acts 4:12)
Christ’s redeeming love was proved in many ways:
1st by God’s words in the Holy Bible
2nd by the life of Christ and His death and resurrection
3rd by the giving of His Holy Spirit to Jews and Gentiles has God’s provision been made known to us. (Hebrews 2:1-4)God’s will is for you and me to acknowledge Jesus as our Savior. We are to acknowledge the truth of God’s words by placing our faith in Jesus.
How can we not choose to receive so great a gift?
You can receive the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus!
How can we not worship and praise Him?
