Who is Jesus?  The writer of Hebrews begins a letter explaining Who Jesus is!

(NASB) Hebrews 1:2 [God] “in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.”

  God’s Son, appointed heir of all things, Creator – this is just a beginning of Who Jesus is!

(NASB) Hebrews 1:3 “…and the exact representation of His nature…”

  How did Jesus exactly represent the nature of God?
Jesus, through His life on earth revealed the exact nature of God.

Jesus ~ is not to be made an idol by the thoughts or hands of people…He is real and not a part of anyone’s imagination.

Jesus ~ conceived by God the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a life without sin, died on a cross for your sins, buried in a tomb, resurrected with a physical body, ascended into heaven – waiting…waiting…to come again as Victorious King and Judge of all.

This Jesus is the exact representation, the exact image of the invisible God.

Jesus exactly shows you the nature of God.  This is why you are to live by faith in Jesus as your Savior.

Faith in Jesus to save you from your sins.
Faith in Jesus to show you God the Father.

Jesus explains and declares God.
(NASB) John 1:18 “No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.”

Jesus has seen God.
He is the only begotten Son of God the Father and the Son has an intimate relationship.
No one can make known the invisible God like Jesus does.
(NASB) Colossians 1:15 “He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God…”

(NASB) John 1:1-3 “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.”

Immanuel ~ God with us!  Jesus ~ He shows you the Father.
The living God of the Holy Bible is knowable…Jesus shows us Who the invisible God is, His very nature.

By studying the life, words, and actions of Jesus you can know God!
