The prayer of the week is based on Psalm 143:8 

Lord God of the Bible let me hear Your lovingkindness in the mornings of 2016.

Today, I choose to lean my full weight on You.  I can be as confident trusting You as sitting in a chair and knowing it will not give way beneath me.

Teach me, in each day of 2016, how I am to live pleasing to You.

Living God, I take refuge in You for the good times, the hard times; the perplexing times that come into my life…You alone are my Savior, my Refuge, my Hope.

In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, amen.
