Paul was in Ephesus, the fourth largest city in the Roman Empire.
(NASB) Acts 19:8-10 “And he entered the synagogue and continued speaking out boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading them about the kingdom of God.
9 But when some were becoming hardened and disobedient, speaking evil of the Way before the people, he withdrew from them and took away the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus.
10 This took place for two years, so that all who lived in Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks.”

When the Jews rejected Paul and his teachings, he turned to the Gentiles.  He did this in every city he taught of the Lord Jesus.  He started in the synagogues, rejection would follow and then he turned to the Gentiles.

Among the Jewish congregations, some would believe, others became hardened.  When anyone becomes hardened toward God and His word, rejection follows.

Your choices and mine lead us either deeper in faith in Jesus Christ or we turn away from the living God.

Where do you go to hear and study the word of God?
Your life and mine shows our faith, or lack of faith, in Jesus Christ.

Paul stayed in Ephesus two years, teaching the ways of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

Where are you going to hear God’s word
preached and taught?
