Stephen was on trial before the Sanhedrin…and he began his defense with the God of glory!  He used the history of the Jewish men who were sitting in judgment of him.
(NASB) Acts 7:2 “And he said, ‘Hear me, brethren and fathers!  The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran.”

  Do you think of the living God of the Holy Bible as the “God of glory”?  He is the God of honor, the God of splendor.  We are to exalt Him as the God of glory!
  He is to be revered above all.  Do you?  God is to be given reverence and worship, honoring Him because of Who He is!
  The living God is the God of splendor and He is beyond my full understanding or knowledge or imagination.  One day I will stand in His presence…and I will then have greater understanding of His greatness.

  Isaiah said of the angels as they worshiped the God of glory:
(NASB) Isaiah 6:3 “…‘Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts,
The whole earth is full of His glory.”
      Look around you today and see that all of creation tells of His glory.

  The Psalmist, David, told of the LORD’S wonderful works and we are to exalt Him.
(NASB) Psalm 105:1-3 “OH GIVE thanks to the LORD, call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples,
2 Sing to Him, sing praises to Him;
Speak of all His wonders.
3 Glory in His holy name;
Let the heart of those who seek the LORD be glad.”
    Think deeply of the glory of God and worship Him, exalt Him…today.

  As I walk through this day what am I to do?
(NASB) 1 Corinthians 10:31 “Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
    All my actions, attitudes and motives are to exalt the God of glory…today!
