The prayer of the week is based on Ephesians 6:10-18 

  Lord God of the Holy Bible…You tell me to put on Your armor, to stand firm and know that my strength to do so comes from You and Your might. 

  Help me today to stand firm against the onslaught of the enemy, Satan. 

  Remind me that this fight is not against people but against Your enemy and mine, the devil, who is also known as Satan. 

  Taking the armor that You provide for me: Your truth, Your righteousness, Your gospel of peace, the shield of faith in You to block the flaming arrows aimed at me. 

  Thank You for salvation by faith in Jesus.  Thank You for the sword of the Spirit which is Your word…all of this for me – today!  Thank You…in the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
