Consider Peter, a disciple chosen by Jesus.
In the last hours of Jesus’ life, Peter had tried to defend Jesus from being arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane.  (John 8:10-11)

After Jesus was arrested and led away, Peter followed at a distance (Matthew 27:57-58).
Peter denied knowing Jesus three times, as Jesus said he would
(Luke 22:54-62).
Peter had run to the empty tomb early on the first day of the week
(John 20:1-10).
The resurrected Jesus reinstated Peter to feed and care for the people who would follow Jesus.  (John 21:15-17)
On the Day of Pentecost, this same Peter was filled with the Holy Spirit of God and he stood boldly with the eleven apostles and made a declaration using the prophecy of Joel.  (Acts 2:14)

When anyone becomes a follower of Jesus, their life is changed.  That is what God does, He transforms lives.  Peter is an excellent example.  How about your life?  Have you turned to God so He can transform your life?
Followers of Christ, are you “stuck” and not growing in Christ?  All of us need to turn to God and ask Him to fill us with His Holy Spirit.

  Jesus said:
(NASB) Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
8 ‘For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

Ask – Promise of God: “it will be given to you”
Seek – Promise of God: “you will find”
Knock – Promise of God: “it will be opened to you”

  Ask – Receive God’s best
  Seek – Find God’s best
Knock – Opened doors to God
                Opened hearts to God
                Opened minds to God

Ask God, Seek God, Knock on God’s door!

A transformed life transformed by God!
