Perplexing
Some women went to the tomb of Jesus very early in the morning on the first day of the week, Sunday.  They were expecting to add spices to the body of Jesus.  When they arrived, they found the very large stone rolled away.  They entered the tomb with their spices, but there was no body.  It was gone.  How perplexing!
(Luke 24:1-3)

Terrifying
Suddenly two men stood near them.  Their clothing was “dazzling,” clothing that “gleamed like lightning”.  (Luke 24:4)
How did these women react?  They were terrified.  In their terror they bowed their faces to the ground.  (Luke 24:5)

Remembering
Then these two men spoke and said,
(NASB) Luke 24:5-7  “…‘Why do you seek the living One among the dead?
6 ‘He is not here, but He has risen.  Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee,
7 saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’
8 And they remembered His words,”

Jesus had told them, a number of times that He would die and be resurrected.  These women were reminded of Jesus’ words, then they remembered.

Reporting
Then those women left that empty tomb and went to where the men were in hiding.  They reported what they had seen and what they had been told.  They told the disciples and the rest of those who had followed Jesus.

What perplexes you about faith in Jesus Christ?
Perhaps you are terrified for it could mean ostracism, suffering, being maligned for faith in Jesus.
Remember what Jesus has done for you…Remember why Jesus has shown you His great love…Remember Who Jesus is (the Son of God)…Remember when you first heard the great Good News of Jesus being your Savior, your Redeemer…Remember where you were when you became a follower of Christ…Remember what Jesus said: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”  (NASB John 14:6
