The prayer of the week is based on Isaiah 55:6-7

  You are the Lord Who calls out to all who will listen. 

  You are inclusive, never exclusive.  You plead with people to seek You while there is time and to call on You because You are near. 

  Oh, Lord, that the wicked would forsake their evil ways and thoughts.  That each of us would turn to You.  We need Your mercy, Your love, Your grace.  You have given us Your Son and it is through Jesus that anyone will be freely pardoned.  I do not have to do anything other than accept the love and sacrifice of Jesus in my behalf…thank You! 

  In the name of Your only begotten Son, Jesus…Amen.
