Jesus warned three of His disciples to “Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”  For He had come back after praying to find them asleep.  (Matthew 26:40-41)

Then Jesus went away a second time to pray…alone.
The first time He had prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.”  (NASB Matthew 26:39)
Now this second time and then the third time He prayed He said the same prayer.
(NASB) Matthew 26:42 “‘My Father, if this cannot pass away unless I drink it, Your will be done.’”

Yielded (fully) by an act or choice of His will, to the will of His Father.  For only Jesus, this Jesus could drink this cup…for our salvation, for the defeat of sin, Satan and death.  There was no one else.  There is no one else.

Jesus was then ready for the coming ordeal of meeting suffering and death.
Prayer was important for the Lord Jesus.  What priority do you place on prayer in your day?

And when you pray, your prayer reveals your honesty, your motives and your will.  Please, please yield to God’s will, God’s way in God’s timing.  Jesus did.
