When Jesus comes the second time (the first was when He was born in Bethlehem), He will come as King over all kings…He will govern from the throne of David.
(NASB) Isaiah 9:6-7 “For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;
And the government will rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace,
On the throne of David and over his kingdom,
To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness
From then on and forevermore.
The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this.”

  Jesus…in charge: there will be peace, true profound peace.
  Jesus…the only One Who has the right to sit on the throne of David and over his kingdom (His right of succession is through the lineage of David – Matthew 1:1-18 & Luke 3:23-38 are the legal proofs)
  Jesus…will establish His world-wide kingdom
  Jesus…will uphold His kingdom with justice and righteousness

  How will this seeming impossible rule be accomplished?  By the LORD’S zeal – He has the power, the might and the ability to do it!

  Think about this: when Jesus comes again, there will be no corruption in government, no smear tactics, no lies, no inaction (hoping everything will turn out for the best), no misleading words, no power behind the scenes pulling the strings of a puppet leader, no ineptness, no cruelty, no hidden motives…the list goes on and on and on!

  When Jesus comes again…the capital of the world will be in Jerusalem.  As impossible as that sounds today…God’s word will be fulfilled!
(NASB) Zechariah 8:3 “Thus says the LORD, ‘I will return to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem.  Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of hosts will be called the Holy Mountain.”

  One day…Jesus will be in charge…Hallelujah! 
  Come Lord Jesus, King of kings!
