Jesus was warned by a group of Pharisees that Herod (a puppet of Rome) wanted to kill Him.  (Luke 13:31)
  And what was Jesus’ response?
(NASB) Luke 13:32 “…‘Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I reach My goal.’” 

  Jesus was not Himself threatened or thwarted from what His Father had sent Him to do.

  A fox steals his food, he kills and destroys life.  Herod was called “that fox” by Jesus…and Jesus was not intimidated by Herod’s threat.
(NASB) John 10:9-10 “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me (believing faith in Jesus), he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
10 ‘The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.’”
 (Many translations state “I am the gate”) 

  Jesus gave those Pharisees a message for Herod: (NASB) Luke 13:32 “…‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I reach My goal.’”

  Jesus was on God’s timetable, His schedule.  Are you?  If so, you are not to be threatened, thwarted or intimidated by anyone or any circumstance.
  No fear!  Because God’s schedule is perfect and perfectly suited for His plans and purposes.
  No fear!  Of those who would desire to kill, stealing your life from you…God’s schedule is just  right for you.!

  Our eyes and thoughts are to be kept on God and His word…there is where we will have rest.  When we are continuing faithfully to “Being on God’s Schedule”!
