Jesus condemned hypocrisy…for hypocrisy is living a lie.  Hypocrisy intentionally covers-up, it conceals, it hides by actions and words which misleads others – hypocrisy is living a lie.
Where are you appearing one way to others and actually you are another way entirely?  Where are you being hypocritical?  Where are you living a lie?

Hypocrisy lives a lie.  Jesus condemned hypocrisy in the strongest of terms.  He condemned hypocrisy then and He condemns hypocrisy today.

It is our choice!  We can live according to God’s truth or we can live according to the lie we fabricate to hide a reality of what we are really like.

Truthful living honors God, hypocrisy does not!

“Listen” to what Jesus said to a Pharisee:
(NASB) Luke 11:43-44 “Woe to you Pharisees!  For you love the chief seats in the synagogues and the respectful greetings in the market places.
44 ‘Woe to you!  For you are like concealed tombs, and the people who walk over them are unaware of it.

The Pharisees love, love, loved taking the best seats in the house of God.
The Pharisees love, love, loved being shown great respect and even veneration in public.
The Pharisees “loved” adoration, adulation, praise and attention.

Outward show does not reveal the truth of what we keep hidden…hypocrisy!  Woe to you!

Hypocrisy:
Where are you hiding something and misleading others?
Where are you being hypocritical?
Where are you living a lie?

Jesus condemned hypocrisy…He saw the Pharisees living a lie.  And He gave a scathing rebuke when He said, “Woe to you!”

Hypocrisy – Living a Lie, are you?
