(NASB) Colossians 3:3-4 “For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.’

What amazing words!  This sounds so beautiful…but what can it mean?

As followers of Christ, we have received Him as our Savior.  We need to be forgiven for our sins (for all people sin).  And Christ made that forgiveness possible when He suffered and died on the cross – in your place and mine.  If we have not received Him as our Savior…we will die in our sins.  If, on the other hand, we ask Him to be our Savior and believe that God the Father raised Him from the dead…we will live for eternity.

When anyone asks Jesus to save them and be their Savior – He does that!  He took care of your sins and mine when He died in our place…think about that!  He took your place and mine on that cross…He took our sins as if they were His own.  When we acknowledge our need of His saving work, He gives us His life.  Amazing!
When Jesus arose from the tomb where His dead body had been placed…this proves that God the Father accepted His Son’s perfect sacrifice.  This is why we need Jesus!

(KJV) Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

When anyone believes in Jesus Christ and does what God’s word says to do…that life is hidden with Christ in God!  Amazing!  We are hidden with Christ in His death and in His resurrection.  Our Savior is not dead, He is alive (and He is coming again!).

What a great hiding place – hidden with Christ in God.
(NASB) John 10:27-30 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;
28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
29 ‘My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.
30 ‘I and the Father are one.’”

We are hidden with Christ in God!

(NASB) Colossians 3:4 “When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.’

What is hidden will be revealed!  What a promise!  Will you be revealed with Him in glory?
