The prayer of the week is based on Deuteronomy 6:4-6

You are the living God whose words are truth.

I am to pay attention to what You have said:

I am to hear by listening carefully and responding positively to what you tell me.

You are the LORD, my God and You are One!

My LORD and my God, I am to love you with my whole heart, with all of my mind, my emotions, with all of my will and with all my strength.

These are Your words which You command me to do, today.

I come to do Your will!  To love You by doing what You say for me to do.

In the name of Your Son Who revealed Who You are, my LORD and my God.  Amen.
