2 Corinthians 4:7-9, 16, 18  (Paraphrased)

To You Omnipotent God of the Bible I pray.
(verse 7)  As a follower of Christ, I have a treasure in a jar of clay so that my life may show that the all-surpassing power in my life is from You, most All-powerful God.
What successes I have is not from my expertise or power but from Your power alone.

(verses 8-9)  Even though there are troubles and problems on every side, I am not to be crushed in spirit; I may be perplexed, but I am not to be in despair; I may even be persecuted, but You have not abandoned me; perhaps I have been struck down, but You have not destroyed me.

(verse 16)  You are the God who renews; help me to remember that I am not to lose heart.  Even though I am wasting away in my physical body, You are renewing me, day by day in my inner most being.

(verse 18)  Help me, Eternal God, to not keep looking at temporary things, but at the invisible things which are eternal.
In the name of Your Son, Your risen Son, I pray.  Amen!
