“But who do you say that I am?”
Jesus asked that question of His twelve disciples.

“But who do you say that I am?”
Jesus asks that question of you and me.

Peter stated, emphatically, “The Christ of God!”  (Luke 9:20)

This bold and brash Jewish man, this fisherman, this man called by Jesus to follow Him stated:
“The Christ (Messiah, the Anointed One) of God!”

Peter knew without doubting that Jesus was Messiah, promised by God from the Torah, the Law and the Prophets (the Old Testament of the Holy Bible).

Peter had walked with Jesus.
He saw Jesus: heal people, bring people back to life, give sight to the blind and give hearing to the deaf.
He heard Jesus: teach and preach the Good News of the kingdom of God.
He had interacted with Jesus on a daily basis.

How can you and I know, without a doubt, who Jesus is?  Don’t we need to do what Peter did?
Don’t we need to walk with Jesus on a daily basis?  But how can anyone do that today?
Remember: Jesus is not dead; He is alive.

How can you hear Him?  By reading His words as if He were speaking to you!
How can you interact with Him?  By praying to Jesus as if He were facing you, as you stand, sit, or kneel before Him!
How can you see Him?  By recognizing individuals being healed, given the new life of Christ within as they receive Him as their Savior.  Have you received His healing in your life?  If not, you can.
How?  By agreeing with God’s word that you do wrong.  Wrong?  Yes, I am talking about sin.  For all sin, all come short of God’s glory, His righteousness, His perfection.  (Romans 3:23)

Confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and believe in your heart that God really did raise Jesus to life after dying.  God’s word states that when you do this, you will be righteous before God and you will receive salvation which only God gives to those who trust in the name of Jesus.
(Romans 10:9-10)
