(NASB) Luke 8:22 “Now on one of those days Jesus and His disciples got into a boat, and He said to them, ‘Let us go over to the other side of the lake.’  So they launched out.”

The disciples were familiar with boats…at least four of them were fishermen by trade.
Going across the Sea of Galilee would have been much quicker than walking around it.

Jesus used available transportation to travel.  As far as Scripture records, Jesus usually walked or used a boat throughout His ministry.
The disciples launched out when He said, “Let us go over to the other side of the lake.”

What do you do when Jesus says to you, ‘Let us go over to the other side of your circumstances’?  Notice that Jesus’ disciples went with Him and He desires for you to go with Him also.

He knows where He wants you to go with Him and we do that by reading His words and praying and doing what His word says to do.

The disciples of Jesus went, apparently willingly and without an argument.  Where is Jesus saying to you…“Let us go…”?
We are to obey His commands, we are to “launch out to the other side” from where we are now.
What “reasons” do you come up with for not going with Jesus when He says to you, “Let us go…”?

Being a follower of Christ is never static or getting stuck in a rut.  As followers of Christ we are living an adventure as Jesus says to us, “Let us go…”

Are you launching out into your circumstances when Jesus says, “Let us go…”?
We are not alone, for Jesus is saying “Let us go…”.
