Greek defines “judge” as krino: to decide, consider, to judge, pass judgment on, condemn.
God says:
(NIV) Luke 6:37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged.”

Greek defines “condemn” katadikazo: to condemn
God says:
(NIV) Luke 6:37 “Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned.”

Greek defines “forgive” as apolyo: to release, forgive, grant clemency
 God says:
(NIV) Luke 6:37 “Forgive, and you will be forgiven.”

This is what God’s word says…is He talking to you?  When you are angry at another’s unkind words and tone of voice against you…

‘Lord, do You mean I am not to judge _____?’
‘Lord, do You mean I am not to condemn _____ the hurt-filled words intentionally aimed at me?’
‘Lord, do You mean I am to forgive the judgments another has against me, the condemnation they have toward me?’
‘Lord, I now release (forgive) _____ for perceived wrongs against me.’
‘These types of confrontations are wearing and greatly affect my emotions.  Please Lord, show me how I am to respond to _____, for You have shown me how I am to respond to You by forgiving  _____.’

What is one of the truths which can be learned?
We are not to sit in judgment or condemn another and when we do, God’s word leads us to repentance.  We then receive His forgiveness toward us and give our forgiveness toward others.

‘Thank You Lord for how You lead me to You and Your forgiveness.  To You belongs praise and thanksgiving for I am forgiven!’
(NASB) 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

God Leads You to Repentance!

‘Thank You Lord for leading me to repentance!’
