The Greek word for “word” is logos.  And the Greek meaning?  Something said (e.g. word; saying; message, teaching; talk, conversation; question)…and in the book of John “Word” speaks of the Christology – the study of Christ and His words, He is the Logos.

(Amplified) John 1:1 “IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.”

Jesus went throughout Galilee and Judea, speaking of His Father and what the people needed to do in order to know the Father God.  Jesus’ words revealed the Father and Himself to all who believe…even today, God’s word the Holy Bible reveals the truth of God.

What is so amazing about a baby born in a Bethlehem stable?  That baby was Jesus the Christ (Messiah), promised by God from the time of the first sin…Genesis 3:15 is the promise of Christ overcoming Satan.
Jesus Christ: born in a Bethlehem stable…this Christ was before all time, before the creation of the world or the galaxies or before anything existed as we know it.

How do people, of any time in history or today, prepare for the birth of their baby?  The best birthing facilities and the best medical care are arranged for people considered to be important.  These VIP’s would be hounded by the news media…camped out on the steps and across the street from the hospital.

God chose a couple who was poor.  He chose a stable for His Son to be born and probably had no medical team arranged for to attend the birth.
Angels were the only “news source” and they were sent to some shepherds!

This God humbled Himself from His high position as the Most High God and became a baby, born of a virgin.

(NASB) John 1:1 “IN THE beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Tomorrow is Christmas, a day all those who call themselves Christians celebrate.  Who will you honor, worship and give glory to, tomorrow?

Christ Jesus was born so you could receive His great gift of salvation…

Hallelujah, Jesus the Christ is born!
