John the Baptist had been called by God to go to the Jordan River and preach a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.  (See Luke 3:2-3)

  God’s message was for the people of Judea and it is still true today for your nation.
What does your nation need above wealth and politics?
Regimes of power and of wealth control countries.  What do all countries, all nations, really need?  Do they need a change in leadership?  That is always a possibility.

What do all countries, all nations, really need?  They all need Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord…Messiah, God’s Anointed One.
(NASB) Acts 4:12 “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.’

John the Baptist’s message was to prepare the way for Messiah.  That message still is in effect today.  The hearts of men and women (boys and girls) are to be prepared to hearing and responding to God’s voice of invitation, His loving warning.

Jesus also said to the people of Judea “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
(See NIV Matthew 4:17).

God told His people in the Old Testament, in the history of Israel:
(NASB) 2 Chronicles 7:14 “and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

What about your nation?  What about you?  Are you listening to God’s words to you?  Before a nation can repent, her people need to repent and it begins with those who are God’s people!
