Twelve year old Jesus had stayed behind in Jerusalem after the Passover Feast.  His parents (Joseph and Mary) anxiously were looking for Him.

(NASB) Luke 2:46 “Then, after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions.”

Jesus, the Son of God…listened and asked questions of Israel’s learned teachers of the Law.  Jesus asked intelligent questions and gave intelligent answers.  So much so that those learned men were amazed at His understanding and His answers.

Only by delving into God’s word and mining the riches of His treasures can anyone have intelligent questions to ask and intelligent answers to give anyone.
