Passover Feast in Jerusalem
(NASB) Luke 2:41 “Now His (Jesus) parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover.”
Passover – a special yearly Feast – one which, if at all possible, should be celebrated in Jerusalem.
Passover – celebrated in the spring of the year.
Passover – commemorating the exodus of the Hebrews out of bondage in Egypt.
Passover – established by the Lord God. (See Exodus 12:1-20)
Passover – when Christ Jesus would become the Lamb of sacrifice on the altar of the cross.
Passover – for all who ‘passover’ from death of unbelief to life through faith in God’s Son.
How can anyone know with absolute certainty that they will go to heaven after they die?
There is only one way to heaven and that is through believing in the Lord Jesus’ death and resurrection for them.
(NASB) John 5:24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.”
Do you believe that Jesus tells the truth? Or do you doubt Him and so declare Him to be a liar?
Jesus said, and I quote from another translation of God’s word:
(Amplified) John 5:24 “I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the person whose ears are open to My words [who listens to My message] and believes and trusts and clings to and relies on Him Who sent Me has (possesses now) eternal life. And he does not come into judgment [does not incur sentence of judgment, will not come under condemnation], but he has already passed over out of death into life.”
The Passover Feast in Jerusalem is one of celebration!
Praise Him Who has given life from death for all who believe in Jesus.
Praise Him for His work on the cross and His words of truth.
