The shepherds had heard and seen the angels and their message; they had hurried to find the baby lying in a manger.
(NASB) Luke 2:20 “The shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them.”

The shepherds went back to work – perhaps with a changed perspective, outlook on life and attitude.
The shepherds went back to their jobs glorifying God and praising Him for all they had seen and heard.

What had they seen which they would never forget?
The angel’s message from God – Messiah had been born.
The angel choir’s anthem ringing out over theBethlehem hills in the silence of the night skies.
The glorious light that shown on them.
Finding the baby lying in a manger proved the angel’s message to be true.

The message, the actuality of the message, was just as they had been told.
What God said through the angel’s message was true.
What God says in the Holy Bible is true…the shepherds believed what they heard and set out to find out for themselves the truth of God’s message.
