The thoughts of God are higher than your thoughts and mine, higher than your ways and mine. (Isaiah 55:8-9)
Since God knows all things and understands us – since God’s ways are above, beyond and better than ours – trusting Him for the ups and downs of life is reasonable and logical.

Before Jesus was conceived He was prophesied in the Old Testament…His birth, ministry, death, resurrection, His coming again and His eternal reign as King of kings.
Before Jesus was conceived there was the promise of Who He would be and what He would do by God.
Before Jesus was conceived the angel Gabriel told Mary of the greatness of the child she would carry.

Before Jesus was conceived surprising situations, consternations, frustrations, anger and even resentments were a part of life.
Before Jesus was conceived in the lives of His followers, we too have been surprised by situations; have experienced consternations, frustrations, anger and resentments.

Because Jesus was conceived our circumstances can be seen through what He has done for us on the cross.
Because Jesus was conceived in His followers when we received Him into our lives as our Savior, we have God Who is trustworthy in the hard, dangerous, difficult situations of life.
Because Jesus was conceived we have God Whom we can turn to and depend upon to meet life.

Jesus: born of a virgin (fully Man)
Jesus: He came to save His people from their sins
Jesus: called the Son of the Most High (fully God)
Jesus: has the right to reign from David’s throne and reign over the house of Jacob
Jesus: the King whose kingdom will have no end

Before Jesus was conceived the above information was given to the virgin Mary by the angel Gabriel. (See Luke 1:31-33)
Before Jesus was conceived God’s thoughts were already on Jesus’ birth, life, death, resurrection and His eternal reign!
Before Jesus was conceived God’s ways were already preparing for you and your circumstances to depend upon Him.

Because Jesus was conceived – how do you now respond to Him?
