What were you like before Christ Jesus became your Savior?
(NASB) Ephesians 2:1-3 “AND YOU were dead in your trespasses and sins,
2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.
3 Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.”

(NASB) Ephesians 2:4 “But God…”

But God…is rich in mercy toward you

But God…has great love for you (even when you were dead in your sins)

But God…made us alive with Christ (His resurrection proves life after death)

But God…offers grace that saves you (by faith in His Son, you are or can be saved from your sins)

But God…raised us up with Christ…

But God…has seated all followers of Christ in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus…

But God…through His foresight will show in the ages to come His surpassing riches of His grace, His kindness, His work (not ours)

But God…gives the gift of His grace by which you are saved through faith in Jesus as your Savior
(See Ephesians 2:4-9)

This is what God has done for you and me…receiving the greatest gift of God and it is all of His work.

When you pray…do you Adore Him?  Thank Him?  Worship Him?  Praise Him?
