The righteous person is known by God.  The wicked or unrighteous person is without God in their lives.

The righteous meditates on the words of God:
(NASB) Psalm 1:3 “…And in whatever he does, he prospers.”

God’s word contrasts the wicked from the righteous:
(NASB) Psalm 1:4 “The wicked are not so,
But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.”
The wind drives away the wicked…because they are without substance…they are not grounded in God and His word.

(NASB) Psalm 1:5 “Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.”
The wicked do not believe in God or take His words seriously…they will not be able to stand with the righteous.  The winds of unbelief have driven them away from God.

(NASB) Psalm 1:6 “For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the wicked will perish.”
Those who believe in the living God (that includes belief in His Son and being filled with His Holy Spirit) will be known by God.
Those who are without God will perish.  That is what God teaches and warns us of, over and over…in the Old Testament and the New.

Are you known by God?
The righteous are like a tree planted by streams of ever fresh waters…
The wicked are like dried up chaff, driven by the winds of unbelief…

How are you known by God?
