(NASB) Genesis 7:1-5 “THEN THE LORD said to Noah, ‘Enter the ark, you and all your household, for you alone I have seen to be righteous before Me in this time.
2 ‘You shall take with you of every clean animal by sevens, a male and his female; and of the animals that are not clean two, a male and his female;
3 also of the birds of the sky by sevens, male and female, to keep offspring alive on the face of all the earth.
4 ‘For after seven more days, I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; and I will blot out from the face of the land every living thing that I have made.’
5 Noah did according to all that the LORD had commanded him.”

Noah was a righteous man in the eyes of the LORD.
(NASB) Romans 1:16-17 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
2 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.’”

Noah found favor with the LORD (See Genesis 6:8).  Noah lived by faith in God.  The LORD God called him a righteous man.  Noah built the ark according to God’s specifications…he believed God and His words.

How many times do you not listen to God’s instructions?  To know God’s leading is to read His word, the Holy Bible…and then do what He says to do.

What do you need to do, today, in order to be righteous and live by faith?

(NIV) Psalm 25:4-5 “Show me your ways, O LORD,
teach me your paths;
5guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.
6Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love,
for they are from of old.
7Remember not the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
for you are good, O LORD.

8Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
9He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way.”
