In the United States, Valentine’s Day is a day for expressing love for another.

What if…we would use this day to express our love for the living God of the Bible?
What if…we would follow His words in our speech, our actions and our motives?
What if…we would be a fragrant aroma to those around us?
What if…we would forgive as He has forgiven us?
What if…we would make glad the heart of the living God of the Holy Bible today by obeying His words?

Loving the Living God of the Holy Bible:

Living by faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Listening to Him by reading and studying the Holy Bible.

Learning of God and His ways on a daily basis.

Living God’s way and not your own way.

God’s word is not just to read and then forget about…He wants you and me to put it into practice in our homes, our offices and our churches.
God’s word is not for me, or you, to point our finger at someone else and think ‘they need to hear this’.

We need to hear and heed God’s words to us…He wants you and me to grow by following Christ and obeying His words…you and me, ourselves…He isn’t talking to anyone else…He is talking to you and me.
Are you loving God so much that you will put aside your wants and desires so that others may know Him?

(NASB) Ephesians 1:15-17 “For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints,
16 do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers;
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.
18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe…”

Loving the living God is to listen to Him…are you listening?
