(NASB) Genesis 2:15 “Then the LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.”

The LORD God prepared everything Adam would need – to live and work.
The LORD God placed Adam in that environment of that garden.
The LORD God planned for Adam to work – to cultivate and keep that garden.

Questions for thinking about and evaluating your life:
How has the LORD God prepared you for the work you are doing today?

Where has the LORD God placed you?

What are you now doing which the LORD God has planned for you?  If you are doing something that is not according to God’s word…you have a decision to make.

Are you being faithful to the LORD God in what He has called you to do?

What do you need to do differently in order to become more like Christ in the following areas?  Spiritually?  Mentally?  Emotionally?  Physically?  Socially?

What areas of your life do you need to cultivate?  [Cultivate: to grow or tend; to nurture; foster.  To form/refine]

What do you need to do to keep in God’s will today?
(NASB) Philippians 4:4-8 “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!
5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men.  The Lord is near.
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.”
