(NASB) Genesis 1:14 “Then God said, ‘Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years.”

Time is important…for God created it…“In the beginning…”.
Throughout Scripture, Old Testament and New, time is emphasized for people to come to the Lord God in their need of being saved.

(Amplified) Hosea 10:12 “Sow for yourselves according to righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God); reap according to mercy and loving-kindness.  Break up your uncultivated ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, to inquire for and of Him, and to require His favor, till He comes and teaches you righteousness and  rains His righteous gift of salvation upon you.”

Now is the time to seek the Lord…

(NIV) 2 Corinthians 6:2 “For he says, ‘In the time of my favor I heard you,
And in the day of salvation I helped you.’
I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.”

There is a time, a day coming of which Revelation warns…and we need to be ready:
(NASB) Revelation 1:3 “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.”

Time, silent and steadily moving forward; my friend, how prepared are you to meet God?  Time, indeed, is important.  “Now is the time to seek the Lord…

Perhaps the Psalmists prayer can be your prayer:
(NASB) Psalm 25:4-5 “Make me know Your ways, O LORD;
Teach me Your paths.’
5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You I wait all the day.”

Who do you know who needs to hear –

“now is the time of God’s favor,

now is the day of salvation”?
