As the darkness of night is quietly taken away by the rising of the sun…so by receiving Christ and following Him – darkness is taken away and replaced by His light.  It is Christ within Who takes away the darkness!

(NASB) Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world.  A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;
15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.”

What are you hiding which the LORD clearly has stated for you to give to others?
What light are you carrying from room to room?  Does that light reveal Christ?

What basket do you need to lift and set aside to reveal your light?  Your light which is your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?

It is God’s power which has given you His light:
(NASB) Matthew 5:16 “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

(Your name), let your light shine so that others will see your good works…and don’t point with pride to what you are doing (or have done).   Point to God!
