Fear? Dread? No Fear!
(NASB) Genesis 1:3 “Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light.”
(NASB) Psalm 27:1 “THE LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the defense of my life;
Whom shall I dread?”
As a follower of Christ I do not need to fear…anyone! Why? Because the LORD is my light, He is my salvation.
He gives me understanding and the desire to follow Him – there is none other in whom I can have salvation.
As a follower of Christ I have the LORD as the One Who defends me. I do not need to fear or dread anyone, or any circumstance.
My confidence is in the LORD my God. My confidence is not to be placed: in myself or a job or any other person or power.
Whom shall I fear? Whom shall I dread? God had (and has) the power to create light by His word, “Then God said…” God has the power to be my light and my salvation and the defense of my life…can you say that also? If so, No Fear!
Without fear or dread we are to step into our day with confidence
in the LORD our God!
