Why is it that followers of Christ will never need to fear eternity in hell?

After all even followers of Christ will continue to sin (because we are born with a sin nature).

Followers of Christ have a hope of eternity of being without sin

and that hope is found only in Christ Jesus.

    There is a promise in Psalm 37:24 which is trustworthy, worthy of your trust in God.

(NASB) Psalm 37:23-24 “The steps of a man are established by the LORD…

24 When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong,

Because the LORD is the One who holds his hand.”

The follower of Christ has this comfort and hope – God Himself holds our hand, there is No Need to Fear!

Romans 10:9-10 (paraphrasing) reveals how anyone can become a follower of Christ:  We are to say, with our mouth, that Jesus is our Master (Lord).  And since we believe in our heart that God has raised Him from the dead, we are saved. Saved by faith in what Jesus Christ has already done on the cross – taking my sins and yours as if they were His own and bearing our punishment before God.

Our salvation for eternity is secure.

  Jesus affirmed His strong hold on those who believe in Him, when He said

29 “My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”   (NIV) John 10:29-30

Who do you need to tell that there is

No Need to Fear!
