Fretting, worrying and/or being anxious about people or situations over which you have no control is…futile.
What does God’s word say about fretting?  Don’t do it!

(NASB) Psalm 37:1-2 “DO NOT fret because of evildoers,
Be not envious toward wrongdoers.
2 For they will wither quickly like the grass
And fade like the green herb.”

Evil doers won’t last – when they are diminished in their power and position they will wither quickly and fade from public view and knowledge.  Consider evil leaders – Hitler, Saddam Hussein, and the list can grow quite long…men (and even women) known to be ruthless in their fanaticism.
They are likened to grass which only lives for a season and then it withers, dries up and dies.

What causes you to fret on the national or international scene?
What does God’s word say?  Do not fret!

No matter the political direction of your country…
God’s word says: Do not fret!

What causes you to fret where you live each day?
What does God’s word say?  Do not fret!

We are to keep God in the foreground, NOT in the background of our lives.

We are to keep God, the God of the Bible, as our leader – in our thoughts and in our conduct.  Do not fret!
