This prophecy was of Messiah entering Jerusalem as King, as the King of Peace, for He would ride in on a donkey.

(NASB)Zechariah 9:9 “Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion!
Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem!
See, your king comes to you
Righteous and having salvation,
Gentle and riding on a donkey,
On a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

 

How greatly do we rejoice for our King Jesus has come, riding on a donkey!

He has come with Righteousness and having Salvation!

For you!

 

Stop right at this moment in time!

Rejoice and praise God!  Jesus Came as the King of Peace.

Be Thankful for He has sent His Son to be King, the Righteous King and Savior Who has brought salvation for you.
