*Zaccheus was trying to see Jesus but he couldn’t, a crowd was between them.  And Zaccheus was ‘small in stature’.  (See Luke 19:3)
(*Some translations spell it: Zacchaeus)

When you read your Bible, do you try to ‘see’ who Jesus is?  Zaccheus couldn’t see because of a crowd of people and he could not see over or around them.

Why can you not ‘see’ Jesus?  Perhaps you read the Holy Bible without trying to ‘see’ Jesus – reading as a rote exercise?
Or perhaps as you listen or read you do not really believe that what the Holy Bible states is truth.

Zaccheus had a valid excuse as to why he could not see Jesus.  He could have shrugged his shoulders and walked away…after all, he had tried, he had put forth effort and it just didn’t happen!

What do you do when you don’t understand God’s word?  Do you shrug your shoulders and walk away?  Are you “Unable to See Jesus”?

Tomorrow’s devotional will reveal what Zaccheus did…
