What sins do you need to recognize in yourself and confess to God?  Confessing them to ourselves is never enough…we cannot save ourselves.

When you and I sin, it is always, ultimately, against God Himself.
Our sins are evil in the sight of this Holy God.  He is justified when He speaks and is without blame when He judges our sins.  (See Psalm 51:1-4)

Asking the LORD God to create in us a clean heart and to renew a steadfast spirit within us is Scriptural (See Psalm 51:10).

Have you had the weight of guilt lifted from you because you have confessed your sin(s) to the LORD God in the name of your Savior, Jesus Christ?
The Psalmist had committed several sins against God and he spoke from personal experience after he had confessed his sins:

(NASB) Psalm 51:12 “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation
And sustain me with a willing spirit.”

Restore (To bring back into existence or use; re-establish) a right relationship to and with God by recognizing and confessing sins to God through the power of Christ’s work on the cross (for you).

For followers of Christ, it is all about Him and what He has done for us.

How are you expressing joy because of God’s salvation for you?
Do others see a smile that lights up your eyes?  Do others hear the fruit of the Spirit in your attitude and demeanor?

(NASB) Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”

May you be a witness to The Joy of God’s Salvation!
